Religious Marriage

The religious marriage ceremony formally, " in the eyes of God," expresses the love two people have for each other to the world. A  public declaration, before witness, of love intent and the commitment to uphold this always.

The ceremony is a recognition of the will of God bringing two individuals together. There is a declaration of the bride and the groom's acceptance and obedience to the recognized will of God. Likewise, since there is to be a formal uniting into a "one flesh" relationship, there is declaration of a promise of fidelity and continuance of love for a lifetime.

Thai Buddhist Catholic Wedding In Phuket

Upon arrival at the wedding venue, the couple meet the Minister for a rehearsal. A little later, at the beginning of the ceremony, the Bride’s father, or a representative, escorts her from the floral aisle entrance to the altar. The groom waits expectantly at the altar for her arrival. Family and friends face the aisle watching the bride approach the richly decorated altar.

After a short introduction of the sacrament of marriage the Minister then leads the Bridal couple through the candle lighting ceremony and wedding vows. The couple exchange rings and the groom is then asked to kiss the bride. The Minister then blesses the marriage and the wedding certificate is signed by the couple and the Minister.

Formalities are finalized and festivities begin with the cutting of the cake and a toast of champagne. The newly-weds then pose for treasured lifetime photos with each other, friends and family before departing for the reception.
